Awesome new place in Chinatown. I dropped by here, thinking I got something to eat, and this restaurant has my favourite pan-fried bun; seriously, everyone should try it, it was so delicious!
Been coming to Chinatown for decades. Stumbled across this place for a few snacks. Tried to order the shrimp noodles, but they were out of them, so the server recommended the pork egg custard and pan-fried Shanghainese soup buns. They were both absolutely delicious. The egg tart was sweet and savoury, with a buttery flaky crust, also like a pork and egg pot pie. Buns were also delicious; the meat filling was bouncy, and as you bite into it, it exploded with an aromatic pork broth. The server did a great job recommending these two dishes, and I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Will be looking forward to coming back to try other dishes.
Saw that this was a new restaurant. The staff were polite; their pan-fried buns are some of the best eats I’ve ever had – first time trying one with so much soup and flavour inside. The best way to describe it was if dumplings and xiaolongbaos had a baby. Definitely give it a try if you’re in the area.
